Electrical testing and the installation of an electrical tag are all vital elements of a safe working environment and should be performed by industry professionals.
The Occupational Health and Safety Act places a duty of care to provide a safe workplace for all employees.
Failure to maintain electrical equipment in a safe condition may result in injury or death to you or your employees. To meet the duty of care it is necessary to ensure that risk of injury from electric shock is reduced as far as is reasonably practicable.
A method of achieving this duty is by testing and tagging electrical equipment as per the current Australian standards AS/NZ 3760.
Avid Electrical has up to date equipment used to provide a complete “Testing and Tagging” solution for your business. Our tester carries out an appliance test that exceeds the requirements of AS/NZ 3760 for both single and 3 phase testing and provides a printed appliance test tag.
On completion we provide a complete electrical asset register detailing the results of the electrical testing. We provide this report in a “soft copy” format for easy storage and retrieval.
